On April 22, 2021, Can Tho University Upgrade Project Management Board (CTU) held a Bid Opening Ceremony - Financial Proposal for the 2-3 "Purchase of laboratory equipment" high technology" under the Can Tho University Improvement Project.

Attending the bid opening ceremony were Mr. Hirano Koji, representative of the project's consulting unit. On the side of CTU, there were Prof. Dr. Ha Thanh Toan, Rector; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Trung Tinh, Vice Rector, Director of CTU Upgrade Project Management Unit; representatives of contractors; representatives of functional departments of the University with members of the Expert Group, the Evaluation Team of the bid package and members of the Project Management Board.
